Well, he *was* given his fair share of songs that weren't exactly in his vocal sweet spot, but yes - he & Martika carried a lot of the first season performances :)
(I didn't even see KI Before Ryan back in the day, so it took me quite awhile to appreciate him...so don't feel bad, LOL :P)
