LOL - IKR? It seemed they tamed it significantly...strangely enough, S3 is my favorite.

Also - This was not a KI Original, actually. It's actually by Patti LaBelle. I heard her version on YouTube last year, but it looks like it's been removed since. It was from the soundtrack to the 1985 film Into the Night. I wish I had more proof though :/

I don't think it's strange that S3 is your favorite. It's definitely one of the strongest seasons, with the best cast of 'em all ♥

I just checked the S2 versions of this song, and you're right - it is a cover. Hmm. If the soundtrack video was yanked from YouTube, then I'm afraid this might be, too. :-/ I hope not, because its hilarious!
